Born in Mobile, Alabama, raised in Madison, Alabama, I now live in Lynchburg, Tennessee, on a small farm just outside the town where Jack Daniel is part God, part man and a splash of cold spring water.

After high school, I attended Auburn University, earning my Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Unsure of what to do next, I moved to Huntsville, Alabama, to pursue a career as a banker with First American Bank, and later, RBC Bank. After two years, I left banking and headed west to Colorado.

In the Fall of 2010, I moved to Savannah, Georgia, where I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design to study photography, eventually earning my Master of Arts degree.

Finally leaving academia for good, I became an associate editor at Sporting Classics magazine in Columbia, South Carolina, where I also helped launch its online publication, Sporting Classics Daily. Currently, I am the Editor and Publisher for The Golf Sport magazine, as well as a freelance writer and photographer. I serve on the boards of both the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA) and the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA).

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website and hope to see you soon.
